General Policies
These General Policies establish the ethical, operational, reputational and content-protection framework under which DS-CERTIFIED conducts its activity. These policies complement the Terms and Conditions and form an integral part of the system.
1. Purpose of the policies
These policies establish the principles, conduct criteria, protection rules and limits of action applicable to the User, authorized third parties and any person or entity directly or indirectly connected with DS-CERTIFIED. They define the framework within which the service is interpreted, operated and protected.
2. Governing principles of the system
DS-CERTIFIED operates under principles of integrity, traceability, consistency, responsibility and control. Any interpretation of these policies shall favor the integrity of the system over the individual convenience of the User.
3. Ethics and conduct policy
Any person using the system must act with honesty, good faith and respect for the purpose of the service. Identity impersonation, attempts to manipulate results, unauthorized external assistance, technical interference, misleading use of a certification and bad-faith claims are contrary to this policy.
4. Reputation and prestige policy
The reputation of DS-CERTIFIED is an essential asset. Any certification issued, published or recognized within the system is subject to truthfulness, traceability and proper use. DS-CERTIFIED may revoke, depublish or invalidate certifications whose use affects institutional credibility.
5. Personal data protection
Personal data provided by the User will be processed to operate the service, validate identity, maintain traceability, manage payments, issue results and publish certifications where applicable. The User accepts that minimum verification data may be published in the official public registry.
6. Intellectual property and content protection
All system content, including examinations, questions, answers, criteria, guides, materials, designs, texts and graphic resources, belongs to DS-CERTIFIED or its legitimate rights holders. Copying, reproduction, extraction, distribution or exploitation without prior written authorization is prohibited.
7. Security, monitoring and audit
DS-CERTIFIED may implement activity logging, monitoring, analysis and audit mechanisms to protect operational integrity, prevent fraud, verify traceability and safeguard service quality.
8. Validity and publication
A certification is considered valid only when it has been published in the official DS-CERTIFIED public registry. Any prior, preliminary, provisional or pending-review document has no final value before third parties without such publication.
9. Revocation and subsequent control
DS-CERTIFIED may review, suspend, depublish, revoke or invalidate certifications, results or system statuses when sufficient grounds exist, including lack of payment validation, fraud, technical inconsistencies, improper use or breach of these policies.
10. Third parties, channels and collaborators
Any partner, reseller, alternate channel, collaborator or third party interacting with DS-CERTIFIED must comply with these policies where applicable. No third party may claim official representation or modify the scope of the service without express written authorization.
11. Continuous improvement and operational change
DS-CERTIFIED may review and modify its criteria, flows, methodologies, control mechanisms, publication standards, materials and policies to strengthen the system, improve security, refine traceability and protect reputational and commercial integrity.
12. Acceptance and binding nature
Access to, use of or continued presence on the platform implies full acceptance of these General Policies. Breach may result in corrective, preventive or sanctioning measures as appropriate.
